The Sea Cucumber spends its time slowing moving about your tank eating and growing in size. These strange creatures will spend most of their time scavaging about the sand looking for organic foods. On average for every 3 inches, you will need 20 gallons of water, and can not tolerate high nitrate levels or copper-based medications.
Do not let their simple appearance and nature fool you. These guys are EXPERT ONLY and require a little extra TLC. Like any Sea Cucumber, there is a possibility of them poisoning your tank, but these cases are fare and in between mostly happening when they are sucked into an uncovered pump intake or overflow boxes.
