NOTE: THE ANGELFISH YOU WILL GET IS A JUVENAL AND WILL ARRIVE WHITE WITH YELLOW AND BLUE ACCENTS. AS THE FISH MATURES THEY WILL TURN DARK AND HAVE ELECTRIC BLUE STRIPED BODY WITH YELLOW UNDERBELLY/FACE AND TAIL.
One of the most eye-catching Queen Angelfish is one of the prettiest of the angelfish. Juveniles are predominantly yellow, while the adults' coloration has a vibrant blue striped body and a yellow underbelly/face and tail. They have an aggressive temperament, so they should be introduced to a community tank last.
These fish are not recommended for a reef tank because they have been known to nip at stony and soft corals (sessile invertebrates) and clam mantles. Their diet should include Spirulina, marine algae, high-quality angelfish preparations, mysis or frozen shrimp, and other meaty items. The Queen Angelfish should be fed at least three times daily.
